1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WasmConvert (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WasmConvert is a free, browser-based file conversion tool. All conversions are performed locally on your own device using WebAssembly technology. Files are never uploaded to our servers, and the Service can be used without creating an account.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activity; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service for malicious purposes; (d) use automated means (such as scrapers or bots) to access the Service in a way that disrupts normal use; or (e) infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to WasmConvert and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms. The files you convert remain your property.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversion results will be free of defects.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WasmConvert and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Local Processing and Your Data
Because the Service processes files entirely on your device, we cannot recover, access, or restore any files processed through the Service. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original files. We are not responsible for any hardware limitations, browser crashes, or data loss that occurs during conversion on your own machine. We recommend testing the Service with a copy of your file before converting important originals.
9. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The Service may display advertisements provided by third parties, such as Google AdSense. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party advertisers.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which WasmConvert operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location for any disputes arising out of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
